Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Flyzio is a Reddit marketing automation tool operated as an indie software product. For questions about this policy, contact us at hello@flyzio.net.

2. What data we collect

Extension (local data): The Flyzio Chrome extension stores all lead data, settings, and activity logs locally in your browser's IndexedDB storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly opt in to cloud sync (which requires a license key).

Website account: When you create an account on flyzio.net, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We use this only to authenticate your session and associate your license key.

Waitlist: If you join the waitlist, we store your email address. We use it only to notify you when your access is ready. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

Activity sync (optional): If you enter a Flyzio license key in the extension, activity events (scan completions, replies posted) are sent to our backend at api.flyzio.net and stored in our database. This is opt-in and only happens when a license key is present.

3. What data we do NOT collect

  • Your Reddit credentials or session tokens
  • Content of Reddit threads you browse (unless you explicitly paste them into the extension)
  • Your browsing history
  • Any data from websites other than Reddit
  • Payment details (handled by Stripe — we receive only a payment confirmation)

4. How we use your data

  • Email: to send your waitlist position, account confirmation, or license key. We do not send marketing email without explicit opt-in.
  • Activity sync data: to display your activity in the web dashboard when you log in.
  • Anonymous usage stats: total replies posted and threads scanned — aggregated across all users, shown on our homepage. No personally identifying information is included.

5. Data storage and security

Local extension data is stored in your browser. We have no access to it. Cloud-synced data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway in the EU. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We retain activity sync data for as long as you have an active account. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Third-party services

  • Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Vercel: Website hosting. Vercel may log request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security purposes.
  • Railway: Backend and database hosting. EU-based.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email hello@flyzio.net. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in on flyzio.net. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our data practices change. For significant changes, we will email registered users. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were made.
